Dark Days of the Admiralty

These rules were written to represent Victorian Naval Warfare.  This version has been tidied up to make the rules clearer and remove some contradictions.  The most noticeable change to the mechanics has been to double the number of movement boxes and remove the concept of destroying half a box.  This makes no difference to the results, but makes the explanation considerably easier.

The title of the rules arises from my incorrect remembrance of the title of a paper by N.A.M Rodger “The Dark Ages of the Admiralty” – Mariners Mirror 61/4 and following issues.
